Jenna is the best!!!! Rob and I couldn’t be happier with how Jenna helped us through our entire wedding process! From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, personable, and truly talented. Jenna was pretty much our second wedding planner - she helped us create a timeline, was always around to answer questions pre-wedding, and was SO on her game during the wedding (getting twelve 30-year-old men to listen and be punctual is an art in itself). She captured every special moment with such beauty and creativity- and even made us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera (we are a bit camera shy). The photos are absolutely STUNNING, and we will cherish them forever. If you're looking for someone who goes above and beyond to ensure your day is perfectly remembered, look no further! My husband Michael and I can not speak highly enough of Jenna! She's truly a pleasure to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful and picking the perfect photographer was a top priority for us. My husband and I were looking for someone who understood our vision and could give us the timeless photos we were looking for, and Jenna did just that! When I first reached out to Jenna, she was quick to respond and schedule a call for us to go over what she had to offer for packages/style, and discuss our overall vision for our wedding day. I knew from the second we jumped on that phone call that Jenna was going to be our girl. It was as if I was talking to one of my very close friends about our big day. We had picked a package that included an engagement shoot. When I tell you we had one of the most memorable  engagement shoots ever, I truly mean it. I had left my top for my outfit change at our house, and it wasn't until we went to change into our casual outfit that I noticed I left my top- I was panicked, but Jenna came to the rescue! Jenna, being the kind, caring soul she is, LITERALLY took the shirt off her back and let me wear it for our pictures. I'd like to think that not many people can say that their photographer gave them the shirt off their back. We were truly blessed to have Jenna as our photographer. In addition to her kind, caring characteristics, she's extremely talented! The amount of time she spent helping me plan was incredible. We did not hire a wedding planner, but it sure felt like I had one. Jenna knew exactly what I was visioning for my bridal portraits and getting ready photos. One afternoon, I received a text from Jenna asking if I could hop on the phone real quick-my heart dropped, and I immediately thought the worst, but the phone call was far from that. Jenna had just photographed a wedding in the same hotel we planned on getting ready at, and she knew from her experience at that hotel that I was looking for something completely different. I can't thank Jenna enough for her honesty. She was kind enough to suggest an airbnb that was located right near the hotel that was absolutely perfect! So, not only is Jenna an amazing and talented photographer, she also takes on the role of a wedding planner. We had countless calls and contact leading up to the wedding, making sure we had the timeline as perfect as could be. She's extremely organized and means business. Our wedding day forecast looked beautiful leading up to the very day, but Jenna made sure we had a back-up plan in place in the event that there was rain, and my goodness am I so thankful for that! While we had strange weather with scattered showers and crazy winds, Jenna and her team still captured stunning photos. A close friend of mine was unable to attend the wedding and after looking at our pictures she had no idea that it rained. The talent Jenna has is mind-blowing. We are truly blessed to have Jenna and her team photograph our wedding and would highly recommend Jenna if you're looking for a photographer. Picking Jenna to be our wedding photographer was the best decision ever! From our very first phone call I knew we made the right choice, she really took the time to get to know us as a couple and to truly understand what we wanted for our big day. We were a little nervous about our engagement session and she made us feel so comfortable. Jenna was absolutely amazing to work with. From just a couple minutes into our initial phone call we knew we wanted her to be our photographer. She was so excited to hear about our wedding plans and I could tell how passionate she was to make our engagement shoot and wedding day magical and seamless. My husband and I are a bit of a “camera shy” couple so we were a little nervous to take engagement pictures. Jenna was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable. My husband Ben and I can not speak highly enough of Jenna! First, she is so incredibly personable. When we first reached out to Jenna with interest in photographing our wedding, she scheduled a phone call for us to talk all about our visions for our day along with her wedding photography packages/style so we could figure out if she would be a good fit. It was like talking to a friend we had known for years, and not once did she make us feel pressured to book with her. As soon as we hung up we knew we wanted her to photograph our day. Secondly, she is a master of her craft. We had Jenna do our engagement session first because we wanted to meet her and get to know her before the wedding. We weren't sure what to expect and were a little nervous but Jenna made us feel so comfortable! We were constantly laughing and smiling throughout the whole engagement session and the photos came out absolutely amazing! Jenna knows all the right things to say to a couple to be able to capture the moment and get the most memorable photos, both portrait and candid styles. Lastly, she is a bonus event planner the day of your wedding because of her organizational skills. She helps gather everyone for pictures and keep things moving so you stay on schedule - she means business, in a good way! There was rain in the forecast for our wedding day so Jenna was in contact with us the few days leading up making sure we had a plan for every possible scenario. While it rained a good chunk of the day, Jenna and her team still captured the most magnificent photos and looking back at them, you wouldn't even know it was raining. Jenna was an absolute honor to work with. She was the most genuine, kind and calming person! When you hire Jenna, you aren’t just hiring an amazingly talented photographer. She helped with day-of coordination, and I felt like I had an extra bridesmaid cheering me on and hyping me up constantly throughout my wedding day! My husband and I recently worked with Jenna for our engagement and wedding photos and couldn't have had a better experience! From the initial phone call to the actual wedding day, Jenna was professional, organized, easy to work with, and SO much fun.

Jenna spent the entire wedding day with us hopping around to about four different locations for our photos. Even with all the movement and never having shot these locations, Jenna did an unreal job!! She captured every moment we wanted and made it such a fun and stress-free experience. She'll do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot and has the ability to make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The final photos (all 1500 of them!!) came out absolutely amazing and we've received so many compliments! Jenna was our best wedding purchase. To start, she’s an amazing human being from the inside and out. She will do anything it takes to get you the most beautiful pictures. She’s a kind, generous, and most importantly fun person to have around. So when it’s your wedding day- you need her. We planned our wedding during the pandemic- which took its toll. She not only was flexible but she also offered to help plan things that had nothing to do with photography. On the day of our wedding, it poured rain and I was pretty sad about it. Jenna reeled me in so quickly, she’s like the maid of honor you don’t know you need. She’s way more than a photographer. THE PHOTOS?! She took thousands and there’s not one I don’t love. When planning my wedding, one of the most important vendors, to me, was my photographer. My sister in law used Jenna and her pictures came out AMAZING so this was an easy decision for me. Great pictures are one thing but making sure the vibe was there is also super important. From our first phone call to discuss my vision, Jenna just put all of my worries at ease. On the first phone call, we put together a rough timeline which made planning everything else super simple! For our engagement photos, we chose borderland state park, which Jenna suggested and it was absolutely perfect. My husband is not a huge fan of taking pictures so he was a bit nervous, but Jenna made it SO fun and it was great practice for the wedding! I knew I had made the absolute right decision after that experience and then I saw the pictures and WOW! Just stunning. 

The day of my wedding, Jenna showed up and immediately my stress went away. She got every single picture (and more) that we had discussed. When people ask who my photographer was, I obviously tell them, but I always have to explain that she was SO much more than that! She was my therapist, my boob tape savior, my hype woman, my hair fixer, my "someone get this woman food.", my calm to my crazy. I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding day amazing, the stunning photos were just icing on the cake.

I had the privilege of working with Jenna for both my  engagement photos and my wedding day. For my engagement photoshoot I wanted to bring in elements of fall,  ideally a golden hour sunset and rustic elements. Jenna had been instrumental in the planning process talking about the different poses we could do, the look we were going for in the photos, and the execution of that day. As a couple who has not spent much time in front of the camera together in a professional capacity,  Jenna made this effortless showing us the photos with poses so we could easily imitate them and made the whole process  effortless. Jenna kept us laughing the whole time so we could get natural love and laughter beaming through the photos. Jenna will move constantly throughout a shoot to create photos of interest with lots of different angles and backgrounds and makes it impossible for you to pick your absolute favorite photo because every photo she takes is truly exceptional. She provides the sneak peek photos quickly and knows the ones to send to clients that pull on the heartstrings. To this day I still look back at our engagement photos and still swoon over them. The photos from that day are truly amazing and stand as a testament in time. Moving forward to my wedding day Jenna was once again the calm, warm presence  during a busy and somewhat chaotic day.  Jenna was the team leader at organizing a timeline that works/ organizing people and where they need to be for photos and working within a team of your other  wedding vendors and doing so with a true understanding of all aspects of the job. Jenna covered everything and more during my 10 hour wedding day, more than I could’ve ever imagined. She got everything from the girls and the guys getting ready, to the intimate moments in between such as my first look with my bridal party/ first look with my husband/ moments with my Mom/ the detail shots (of my veil, shoes, invitations, rings, photos of my father attached to my bouquet, his reserved seat at the altar, my flowers etc) and all the emotions that went into the day so I can always look back on that day and smile. Once again,  Jenna never got tired despite the fact that we took photos for 10+ hours she shot photos from close-up,  to further away landscapes,  to laying on the ground and shooting upwards, to standing on ladders to get shots from above, using nature (tree/ leaves) and exploring the venue  for all potentially good sites for photographs (barns, creeks, bridges etc)  she truly does it all, to get you that shot that makes your heart swell.  This is what sets Jenna Kay Photography apart from others she truly does go above and beyond for her customers to give them the photos they will absolutely cherish for a lifetime. Jenna additionally, is wonderful at shooting photography in all different types of lighting from golden hour glow, to blue hour glow, intense sunlight,  to overcast she can do it all and still provide top notch quality. On my wedding day I wanted the fall leaves/ the colors  of fall to be captured however,  our day had a lot of overcast and periods of intense sun. Jenna truly used the sunlight when we had it and then went back in and hand edited the leaves to give me the rich fall tones I wanted. I often scroll through my wedding photos and engagement photos and they fill me with instant joy, love and appreciation that I hired Jenna. If you’re looking for someone who is detail oriented , a warm personality, extremely organized and someone who is phenomenal at their job hire Jenna for your once in a lifetime moments. Our experience with Jenna Kay Photography was perfect. We used her for our engagement session and wedding day. Jenna asked many questions to make sure she knew what our expectations were, which allowed her to deliver exactly what we were looking for. Posing didn’t come naturally for my husband and I but Jenna was able to give us quick easy guidance. She was very well prepared and timely which is important on your wedding day!
