We couldn't be happier that we chose Jenna as our photographer. She is the absolute sweetest and so easy to work with! We worked with Jenna for our engagement session and on our wedding day and our experience could not have been better! Jenna was professional, easy to work with, and always made herself available to answer any of our questions throughout wedding planning! She helped us put together the perfect timeline for our wedding day and kept everything fun and stress free. 

Jenna made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed and we couldn't imagine our wedding day without her. Her pictures are absolutely stunning and she photographed the feel of our venue perfectly. When you hire Jenna, you aren’t just hiring an amazingly talented photographer. She helped with day-of coordination, and I felt like I had an extra bridesmaid cheering me on and hyping me up constantly throughout my wedding day! My husband and I recently worked with Jenna for our engagement and wedding photos and couldn't have had a better experience! From the initial phone call to the actual wedding day, Jenna was professional, organized, easy to work with, and SO much fun.

Jenna spent the entire wedding day with us hopping around to about four different locations for our photos. Even with all the movement and never having shot these locations, Jenna did an unreal job!! She captured every moment we wanted and made it such a fun and stress-free experience. She'll do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot and has the ability to make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. 

The final photos (all 1500 of them!!) came out absolutely amazing and we've received so many compliments! Anyone who spent the day with us can't stop raving about how great Jenna was to work with.

When planning my wedding, one of the most important vendors, to me, was my photographer. My sister in law used Jenna and her pictures came out AMAZING so this was an easy decision for me. Great pictures are one thing but making sure the vibe was there is also super important. From our first phone call to discuss my vision, Jenna just put all of my worries at ease. On the first phone call, we put together a rough timeline which made planning everything else super simple! For our engagement photos, we chose borderland state park, which Jenna suggested and it was absolutely perfect. My husband is not a huge fan of taking pictures so he was a bit nervous, but Jenna made it SO fun and it was great practice for the wedding! I knew I had made the absolute right decision after that experience and then I saw the pictures and WOW! Just stunning. 

The day of my wedding, Jenna showed up and immediately my stress went away. She got every single picture (and more) that we had discussed. When people ask who my photographer was, I obviously tell them, but I always have to explain that she was SO much more than that! She was my therapist, my boob tape savior, my hype woman, my hair fixer, my "someone get this woman food.", my calm to my crazy. I cannot thank her enough for making my wedding day amazing, the stunning photos were just icing on the cake. 

Jenna was our best wedding purchase. To start, she’s an amazing human being from the inside and out. She will do anything it takes to get you the most beautiful pictures. She’s a kind, generous, and most importantly fun person to have around. So when it’s your wedding day- you need her. We planned our wedding during the pandemic- which took its toll. She not only was flexible but she also offered to help plan things that had nothing to do with photography. On the day of our wedding, it poured rain and I was pretty sad about it. Jenna reeled me in so quickly, she’s like the maid of honor you don’t know you need. She’s way more than a photographer. THE PHOTOS?! She took thousands and there’s not one I don’t love. She handles family dynamics and tough circumstances with such grace. She takes every worry a bride has- and makes you so confident. She ended up going outside under an umbrella and took such magical pictures of us in the rain. She captured parts of our ceremony that were so minor you forgot until you looked back. And now I plan to book her for every photo shoot I’ll ever need. My husband (who can be a tough cookie) still talks about how much he loves her. You wont regret her- she’s the absolute best wedding vendor you can invest in 🤍

I had the privilege of working with Jenna for both my  engagement photos and my wedding day. For my engagement photoshoot I wanted to bring in elements of fall,  ideally a golden hour sunset and rustic elements. Jenna had been instrumental in the planning process talking about the different poses we could do, the look we were going for in the photos, and the execution of that day. As a couple who has not spent much time in front of the camera together in a professional capacity,  Jenna made this effortless showing us the photos with poses so we could easily imitate them and made the whole process  effortless. Jenna kept us laughing the whole time so we could get natural love and laughter beaming through the photos. Jenna will move constantly throughout a shoot to create photos of interest with lots of different angles and backgrounds and makes it impossible for you to pick your absolute favorite photo because every photo she takes is truly exceptional. She provides the sneak peek photos quickly and knows the ones to send to clients that pull on the heartstrings. To this day I still look back at our engagement photos and still swoon over them. The photos from that day are truly amazing and stand as a testament in time. Moving forward to my wedding day Jenna was once again the calm, warm presence  during a busy and somewhat chaotic day.  Jenna was the team leader at organizing a timeline that works/ organizing people and where they need to be for photos and working within a team of your other  wedding vendors and doing so with a true understanding of all aspects of the job. Jenna covered everything and more during my 10 hour wedding day, more than I could’ve ever imagined. She got everything from the girls and the guys getting ready, to the intimate moments in between such as my first look with my bridal party/ first look with my husband/ moments with my Mom/ the detail shots (of my veil, shoes, invitations, rings, photos of my father attached to my bouquet, his reserved seat at the altar, my flowers etc) and all the emotions that went into the day so I can always look back on that day and smile. Once again,  Jenna never got tired despite the fact that we took photos for 10+ hours she shot photos from close-up,  to further away landscapes,  to laying on the ground and shooting upwards, to standing on ladders to get shots from above, using nature (tree/ leaves) and exploring the venue  for all potentially good sites for photographs (barns, creeks, bridges etc)  she truly does it all, to get you that shot that makes your heart swell.  This is what sets Jenna Kay Photography apart from others she truly does go above and beyond for her customers to give them the photos they will absolutely cherish for a lifetime. Jenna additionally, is wonderful at shooting photography in all different types of lighting from golden hour glow, to blue hour glow, intense sunlight,  to overcast she can do it all and still provide top notch quality. On my wedding day I wanted the fall leaves/ the colors  of fall to be captured however,  our day had a lot of overcast and periods of intense sun. Jenna truly used the sunlight when we had it and then went back in and hand edited the leaves to give me the rich fall tones I wanted. I often scroll through my wedding photos and engagement photos and they fill me with instant joy, love and appreciation that I hired Jenna. If you’re looking for someone who is detail oriented , a warm personality, extremely organized and someone who is phenomenal at their job hire Jenna for your once in a lifetime moments. Our experience with Jenna Kay Photography was perfect. We used her for our engagement session and wedding day. Jenna asked many questions to make sure she knew what our expectations were, which allowed her to deliver exactly what we were looking for. Posing didn’t come naturally for my husband and I but Jenna was able to give us quick easy guidance. She was very well prepared and timely which is important on your wedding day!
